Would you like a job that pays more money?
If you are unemployed or on a low income, your Children's Centre can offer you help and support to find a job, find higher paid work or access training to improve your skills. If you have children under 5, they can also provide high quality, affordable, local childcare.
A variety of training will be on offer and will include courses in:
If you're receiving benefits, the centre based advisers can provide all the support and advice you need to balance work and your home life.
They can help with:
Support doesn't stop when you find a job. Your adviser will tell you about all the in-work benefits available to you.
You may be entitled to a tax-free Job Grant of £250 when you start work and many working parents receive help with childcare costs through Tax Credits.
