Children's Centre Express Library

Get your child off to a good start in life

by encouraging them to enjoy books and stories

                             Come along to your local library today.

The library caters for adults and children and we offer the best selection of new children's books, as well as your favourites and some popular adult titles and information resources.

A range of family activities to inspire a love of reading is also provided.

Free Bookstart packs are available to help you read books with your baby and our friendly staff are there to help you and your family to find out what services are on offer.

A hearing loop is available throughout the library area. The library is open throughout the week, but the best time is to come to the following library sessions when a dedicated member of staff will be on hand to issue books

The phased introduction of library sessions are:

Week 1

Wed 9th Sept: 9.30am-11.00am (During Tea, Toast & Talk - library session run by Estelle)

Week 2

Tues 15th Sept: 10.00am-12.00noon (During Baby Clinic - library session run by Elena)

Wed 16th Sept: 9.30am-11.00am (During Tea, Toast & Talk - library session run by Estelle)

Week 3 onwards (w/c 21st Sept)

Mon: 3.15pm-4.00pm (After school library session run by Dianne)

Tues: 10.00am-12.00noon (During baby Clinic - library session run by Elena)

Wed: 9.30am -11.00am (During Toast & Talk - library session run by Estelle)
