Training, Jobs & Careers Fair 2007

A special training, jobs and careers fair is being held, over 2 days in Friar Park, Wednesbury.

Both events have been coordinated by the local Wednesbury Learning Coordinator, working in partnership with Priory Sure Start Family Centre, Wednesbury Town Team, Wednesbury Learning Community, Friar Park Partnership, Extended Services, Learning Panel Members, Learning Network Members, SAFL, Jobcentre Plus, and 6 Town’s Credit Union.

The first event will be held at the Millennium Centre, Friar Park Road, Wednesbury, WS10 0JS on Thursday 19th April between 1.00pm – 5.00pm. The second event will be held the following week Thursday 26th April, 4.00pm – 8.00pm at the Sure Start Children’s Centre, Priory Family Centre, Dorset Road, Friar Park, Wednesbury, WS10 0JG.

Residents are invited to come along on the day and meet over 28 providers all under 1 roof offering a combination of free 1-1 impartial advice and guidance, help with CV preparation, interview techniques, business start up, job coach, job opportunities, modern apprenticeships, training opportunities and much more.
