Charity Fun Day

Sure Start, in aid of the Starlight Children's Foundation, held a Charity Fun Day on Sunday 5th September '04 at the Priory Primary School, Dorsett Road.

Activities included:

• Charity Fun walk
• Jumble Sales / Brick-a-Brack
• Bouncy Castle
• Fun Games
• Face Painting
• Balloon Making
• B-B-Q & refreshments
• Competitions / Raffles
• Home Made Cakes and Biscuits
• Music
• Martial Arts Demo

The event went well and £505 was raised for the Starlight Children's Foundation.

Winners of the Raffle:
1st prize: Lorraine Thornes - Family holiday in the Sure Start caravan
2nd prize: Mrs Martin - Meal for 4 at Spices, Wednesbury
3rd prize: Connor - bottle of whisky (donated by Tom Watson MP)
4th prize: Jo Smith - 2 tickets to Walsall FC
5th prize: Sophie Mason £10 Marks & Spencer voucher
