Family Sea Side Trip

On 22nd August dozens of Sure Start families enjoyed a day trip to Weston-Super-Mare. It was an early start but the day was filled with fun.

Children and their families played on the beach, flew kites, built sand castles and explored the pier.

Everyone had a lovely day and the weather was great too.

We had a letter from a delighted parent:

"I am just writing to say a huge thank you for putting on the trip to Weston-Super-Mare at the weekend. It was a fantastic day out and my 3 year old played on the beach for the first time ever! We would never have been able to afford a day out like that if it wasn't for the tremendous effort put in by each and every Sure Start member. Thanks again for a great day out."
